Scope
This project involved the concept design for the upgrade of four grain conveyors at the terminal to suit updated specifications and usage requirements. Limited information on these facilities required initial calibration calculations against site measured information to determine the current capacity of the conveyors. The design includes a retrofit of variable speed drives in place of secondary resistant starters as well as bringing the design in line with current industry and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standards.
Outcome
Sedgman Onyx utilised our significant experience to identify the optimal solution as well as assessments on the works required to bring the design in line with current industry and OEM standards.
